*Hey Lions!  We will be having a competition on who can wear the most green and gold this Friday.  Come by the table near the office and show your green and gold outfit.  Two 8th grade students and two 7th grade students will win a prize.


*Day on the Green, has become a tradition at Douglass Middle School to celebrate the end of the year by having Day on the Green. In order to participate in these activities students must be debt free and be in great discipline standing as of June 5th, 2018. Any student that receives a suspension, detention, or a no go recommendation from a teacher on May 14th, 2018 or after this date will not be eligible to participate in Day on the Green.



*The last Homework Club will be tomorrow Thursday, May 31st. 



*Hey Lions! Come by the Happy Room for a FREE and fun afterschool program. We will be here right afterschool until 5:00pm. Today the Raptor Center will be visiting

Thursday we will have our Teen Pack Party, with an inflatable, karaoke and fun games

                *This will be our last day of the year!



* The 8th grade promotion is next week. It is a tradition to have an 8th grade student speak at the ceremony.  There will be a speech contest held on Friday, June 1st during lunch in room C-2 . The two- to- three minute speech will be about "Memories at Douglass" or "Changes throughout Middle School".  If you have any questions about the speech contest and details, please come see Mrs. Wyles in room C-2.



*Water balloons and water throwing at other students will not be tolerated. If you are caught doing this, you will be assigned consequences and will lose the privilege of attending Day on the Green.
