* To All Music Students: Please make sure you come to the Music Room to pick up your instrument and music after school, to take them home for Spring Break!

Thank you!

* Great job to the Douglass girls Soccer Team for finishing this season undefeated. Yesterday they tied their last game of the season against Dixon C.A Jacobs 2-2. Goals from Irie Treviño and Melissa Tamayo.  Thank you Ladies for an awesome season, team work and effort payed off. Next up will be the YCal tournament in two weeks.

*Attention 7th graders! We are looking for students to connect with next year’s incoming 7th graders – we want students who want to help make Douglass the best place to go to school.  If that sounds like you and you would like to learn how you can help others and make that happen come to an informational meeting for the new WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) class next year.  Meetings will be April 9th and 10th at lunch in A5 or after school in B5.  Or if have questions or want to pick up an application you can get one from Mr. Timothy, Mrs. Edsall or in the counseling office.    Come have some fun and have an influence!

*Congratulations to the boys soccer team for a hard-fought game against CA Jacobs. The boys tied 1 to 1. Shout out to Michael Gray for scoring the Douglass goal. The boys will be playing in the YCAL soccer tournament on Tuesday and Wednesday after spring break.

*Vanessa Herrera, Carson Timothy, Monse Figueroa, Jessica Leon, Victoria Rodriguez, Sergio Gonzalez, Kevin Merten, John Gallegos, Gali Prado, and Abby Harrison have turned in all 7 March Madness tickets.

Congratulations!  See Mrs. Grimes in the front office for your prizes.  Today is the last day to turn in your March Madness tickets!

* Attention all 7th grade students – Have you ever thought to yourself, “how great would it be to help create and capture memories of a lifetime?”  If that is you, stop by Mr. Timothy’s room A-5 either before school or at lunch to pick up an application for Yearbook.  Applications are due today, March 30th.

*Today is a minimum day, and all students will be released at 12:05pm. Enjoy your spring break and we will see you all Monday, April 9th.
